Anna, the First Mother’s Day Duckling
Anna is a duckling close to our hearts. Designed in a special edition of just 300 characters, every petal and stem is lovingly hand-crafted in gratitude to all the amazing mums and motherers out there.
Anna Jarvis established Mother’s Day in 1908 to honour her own mum, Ann Reeves Jarvis, a 19th-century pioneer of maternal public health.
Carnations were not only Ann’s favourite flower, but as Anna once said, the carnation never drops its petals but “hugs them to its heart” — just like ducks with their flock.
As a special edition duckling, Anna does not come with personalisation options. Her name is proudly fixed as Anna, in honour of Anna Jarvis and her remarkable legacy.
Each Anna duckling comes presented in her own gift box and is accompanied by a collectable souvenir booklet telling her story.
