Sunflower Power
Sunflowers have easily been one of the most requested designs for our ducks. Maybe it's because of the flower's ability to help almost anyone smile just by looking at them? Or perhaps it's more to do with the association with hidden disabilities, and especially autism. It's probably for both of those powerful reasons - which is why it was an easy decision to launch our new Sunflower Duckling as a charity fundraising design.
Run by adoptive and biological parents, FASD Friends is a charity that supports children, young people and adults with complex disabilities. Volunteers work 24 hours a day to provide crisis support, and family, carer and young carer days out.
We're donating 20% from the sale of each Sunflower Duckling, as we know that every penny will make a huge difference to the families they support.
We give all our wooden characters a random DCUK name tag, but you might like to choose your own for their forever home. Make your gift extra-special with one of our luxury gift boxes. As our characters are all individually made, poses may vary from the photos.
