DCUK Cover Art Competition
Terms and Conditions of the current art competition for DCUK.
1. What can I win?
- Three winners selected from a shortlist will see their art used on the cover of DCUK's famous brand booklets
- Each winner will receive a named credit in each related booklet, and a small box of sample booklets for personal use
- Each winner will also receive £100 in gift vouchers to use across dcuk.com
- There might also be other treats and surprises, but these are at the discretion of DCUK (and counted as as a bonus)
2. Great, how can I enter?
- If you're any age, can create art, and live on planet earth - you can enter our cover art competition
- Art needs to be DCUK-related, in that in features old, new, or potential DCUK characters
- The setting, style, and type of art (pencil, paints, markers, digital, mixed media, etc) is up to each entrant
- Entries need to be created in landscape format (sideways)
- Digital art, scans and photos can be uploaded here: www.dcuk.link/coverart
- Physical originals can be sent to: DCUK Cover Art Competition, DCUK, Diptford, Totnes, Devon. TQ9 7NG.
- Closing date for all entries to be considered is 11:59pm on 31st August 2025
3. Is there anything else I need to be aware of?
- We can only accept a maximum of two entries per person (any more will mean disqualification)
- Employees of DCUK are not allowed to enter
- DCUK will select a shortlist of entries (final number TBC) to be announced after the closing date
- Fans and collectors across social media and email will be encouraged to vote for their favourites
- The top 2 x vote-getters plus an additional 1 x choice from DCUK will be deemed the 3 winners
- Entrants grant us the right to use all artwork in DCUK media, royalty-free
- Entering also confirms that the artwork is original - and DCUK has permission to use it without compensation
- Any artwork believed to be wholly AI-generated will be excluded from any shortlisting
- Three winners will be notified within 10 days of the result, and prizes allocated as stated in (point 1)
